LNG ships from the United States will ensure the stable supply of natural gas in North China during the Spring Festival

On January 7, the LNG ship “Alva” from the United States sailed slowly towards the Tianjin LNG Terminal of the National Pipeline Network Group in the morning light. It is loaded with 73000 tons of LNG (liquefied natural gas), which will ensure the stable supply of natural gas in North China during the Spring Festival.

Tianjin LNG, a national pipeline network group, undertakes the task of ensuring the supply of natural gas in North China. It is understood that Tianjin LNG has taken various measures in production and operation, market operation, equipment maintenance and other aspects in combination with the supply guarantee situation in winter, so as to strengthen the defense line for the people to stay warm in winter. It is understood that Tianjin LNG has set up a communication group for the winter supply guarantee operation plan to comprehensively sort out the equipment and facilities, personnel emergency skills, tank car security inspection and other aspects during the winter supply guarantee period, connect the transportation plan, reserve LNG tank storage, timely adjust the LNG gasification export volume, and respond to changes in market demand at any time; At the same time, focusing on the “nine precautions in winter”, strengthen the patrol inspection intensity and frequency of equipment and facilities to ensure the safe and stable operation of production equipment. The figures show that since the winter supply guarantee of Tianjin LNG started on November 1 last year, 15 LNG ships have been loaded and unloaded, and the cumulative export volume has exceeded 860000 tons.

The process of natural gas liquefaction basically includes feed gas pretreatment (purification), liquefaction, refrigerant cycle compression, product storage, loading and auxiliary systems. The main process flow includes feed gas purification and purified gas liquefaction.

Natural gas as feed gas must be thoroughly purified before liquefaction. That is, remove the acid gas, water and impurities in the feed gas, such as H2S, CO2, H2O, Hg and aromatic hydrocarbons, so as to prevent them from freezing at low temperature and blocking and corroding equipment and pipelines.

MDEA amine liquid process is the most suitable process in terms of energy consumption, treatment scale and investment and operation cost. Therefore, MDEA amine liquid process is selected for deacidification gas in this proposal.
