Torch gas (associated gas) light hydrocarbon recovery plant (hereinafter referred to as “plant”) recovers torch gas (associated gas) into dry gas and NGL.
In order to make the proposed plant safe, reliable, easy to operate and maintain, the plant will be designed with mature and reliable technology, so that the process is simple, the operation is flexible, the work is reliable, and the maintenance is convenient.
1 Torch gas (associated gas) booster system
1) Process description
Due to the low pressure of torch gas (associated gas), it needs to be pressurized to a suitable pressure to ensure the demand for refrigeration.

The pressure after boosting 0.3MPa
The pressure after boosting 4.5MPa
After boosting, the temperature is 45 ℃
2 Torch gas (associated gas) dehydration system
1) Process description
The presence of moisture in torch gas (associated gas) often causes serious consequences: moisture and torch gas (associated gas) form hydrates or ice block pipelines under certain conditions.
Torch gas (associated gas) dehydration adopts molecular sieve adsorption method. Because molecular sieve has strong adsorption selectivity and high adsorption characteristics under low water vapor partial pressure, this device uses 4A molecular sieve as dehydration adsorbent.
This unit adopts a two-tower process to absorb moisture, uses TSA method to analyze the moisture adsorbed in the molecular sieve, and uses condensation method to condense and separate the moisture desorbed from the adsorbent.

1) Process description
After dehydration and dust filtration, torch gas (associated gas) enters the heat exchanger and enters the propane pre-cooling system after the temperature drops to 0°C. After throttling, the temperature drops to -30°C and then enters the low-temperature separator. The gas phase of the low-temperature separator returns to the heat exchanger to raise the temperature to 30°C, and the liquid phase enters the de-ethane tower.

4. Heavy hydrocarbon storage system (temporarily designed for storage of 5 days )

5. Torch gas (associated gas) export system
Pressure of torch gas (associated gas) after decarburization, dehydration and de-hydrocarbon is 1.25 MPa and export as dry gas.
