A entire LPG or condensate recovery from natural gas includes decarbonization unit (also called CO2 removing unit), desulfurization unit, dehydration unit, LPG recovery from natural gas ( or NGL recovery from natural gas ) , Natural gas cryogenic separation and fractionation unit , loading system ,utility, and so on.

Here are one sample of its process.

Natural gas with pressure of 995~1100psig and temperature of 75.19~95.43 ℉ is pressure regulated, filtered, separated, and metered, and then heat exchanged with the dry gas from the plate-fin heat exchanger and separated. The separated gas enters the de-acidification system to remove CO2\H2S. The de-acidified natural gas is precooled to 20℃ by a high-temperature ice machine and then separated into gas and liquid. The separated natural gas is dehydrated by a molecular sieve drying system, then demercured and dust filtered, and then enters a plate-fin heat exchanger to cool to -29 ℃, and then continues to cool to -35 ℃ by a propane refrigeration compressor before entering a low-temperature separator. The liquid hydrocarbons at the bottom of the low-temperature separator are throttled by a throttle valve and enter a plate-fin heat exchanger to reheat to 20 ℃ before entering the middle of the de-ethanizer. The gas at the top of the low-temperature separator is expanded to ~ 2.485MPa by an expander and then enters the lower part of the DHX tower, where it counter-currently contacts with the cooled liquid hydrocarbons from the top of the deethanizer, and most of the C3 and above components in the raw gas are absorbed. The liquid hydrocarbons at the bottom of the DHX tower are pressurized by a hydrocarbon mixing pump and enter the top of the deethanizer, where excess ethane is removed by the reboiler at the bottom of the deethanizer. The ethane-rich gas removed from the top of the tower enters the plate-fin heat exchanger and is cooled before entering the top of the DHX tower, completing a cycle. The dry gas at the top of the DHX tower enters the plate-fin heat exchanger for reheating and then is transported out after been compressed to ~7.6Mpa by dry compressor . The liquid hydrocarbons at the bottom of the deethanizer tower go to the liquefied gas tower by their own pressure. The LPG product produced at the top of the tower enters the storage tank, and the C5 + at the bottom of the tower enters the storage tank as a C5 + product after being cooled to 40 ℃.

The liquid hydrocarbons separated by filtration after pressure regulation of the raw gas and the liquid hydrocarbons after precooling enter the three-phase separator, and the separated liquid hydrocarbons enter the deethanizer. The gas is circulated to the inlet filter separator for recovery through the flash gas circulation compressor, and the wastewater enters the wastewater collection unit.
